Wayfinding as contemporary art and city branding
At Skyform Studio, we specialize in art installations with bold city branding, combining contemporary art and digital technology. For many years we’ve worked with cities and municipal teams, so we understand what modern urban branding needs: recognizability, photogenic appeal, anti-vandal durability, and everyday functionality.
Idea & design
This system is more than a screen — it’s a complete art object designed specifically for the parks of Cleveland Heights. A contemporary silhouette with an integrated media module, large-scale typography, and distinct branding elements turns the unit into a visible urban gesture. The structure carries the city name, logo, and website, making it a recognizable landmark and natural photo spot.
Smart navigation
Specialized software (developed by a leading UK company) shows city maps, events, and local news. The interactive touch display helps visitors build walking routes and quickly find attractions and key locations.
By day the system serves as a convenient wayfinding hub; by night it becomes a light installation that sets the mood and supports the city brand.
Our experience — your confidence
Years of work with cities taught us the importance of longevity, vandal resistance, accessibility, energy efficiency, and serviceability. We design for year-round use, social photo flows, and content workflows for teams managing communications and events.
Materials & durability
The body is made of stainless steel with special paint and a protective coating for outdoor use. Built-in LED backlighting ensures readability and a striking look at dusk and at night, emphasizing the silhouette and branding.

City branding through art
This is not “a screen on a stick”, but a carefully crafted art installation with the city’s DNA. It strengthens the visual identity of Cleveland Heights, increases engagement of residents and visitors, and supports the image of a modern, open, tech-forward city.
More than navigation
Wayfinding systems are a staple of smart cities. We go further by uniting functionality, artistic expression, and city identity so the object guides visitors and becomes a symbol of place, decorating streets and generating organic photo content.
