Project Details

Client’s Task

To create a landmark object for the park and entertainment complex that would:

• become the centerpiece of an artificial pond;
• visually convey the moment of the mythical Pegasus taking flight;
• work impressively both day and night, enhancing the atmosphere of the space.

Our Solution

• Form and composition. Dynamic plasticity of Pegasus with an emphasis on the wing lines and a silhouette clearly visible from a distance.
• Engineering on water. A stainless-steel base with a float module ensures stability and correct positioning above the water surface.
• Materials and finishing. Galvanized steel, automotive enamel, and multi-layer varnish ensure durability and brilliance.
• Lighting scenario. 15 integrated light sources — soft body illumination and directional accents forming light-and-shadow patterns on the water and shoreline.
• Process. The project was completed in 4 months — from concept and engineering to final installation on the pond.

Result

• Pegasus Ascendant became a beacon and a new symbol of Sofiyivka Park.
• Light and reflections create an immersive experience: by day — an expressive sculpture, by night — a luminous art object visible from afar.
• The installation enhanced the park’s tourist appeal and expanded its cultural code, blending myth and modern engineering.
• The park gained a significant art object that inspired thousands of photos and social media posts.
• This is the only art object in the world featuring a life-size Pegasus installed on water.
