Client’s Task
The client approached us with the following vision:
“We want a public art object that will become the central element of the New England residential complex, uniting architecture and culture while creating a landmark point of attraction. It should be an iconic symbol that reflects European heritage and provides residents with a new cultural space.”
Our Solution
We proposed creating a globally recognizable art object that would perfectly symbolize the name of the residential complex:
- The tower was designed with high architectural detailing while keeping a contemporary artistic expression.
- The structure was engineered to withstand outdoor conditions and diverse climate factors.
- Functional clocks on each side made the sculpture both symbolic and practical.
- The installation was seamlessly integrated into the fountain complex, strengthening the identity of the public space and turning it into a true attraction for residents and visitors.
Result
- The “Big Ben” public art installation became the central symbol of the New England complex, shaping its visual and cultural identity.
- The residential complex gained strong recognition and tens of thousands of photos and social media posts, created by residents and visitors.
- The project united London’s architectural heritage with Kyiv’s contemporary urban landscape.
- Residents and guests received a new cultural landmark where art and functionality meet.
- The project was completed in just seven months — from concept and design to installation.
“Big Ben” by Skyform Studio is more than just an art object — it is a symbol of cultural dialogue and a vivid example of how public art can help developers transform residential and urban spaces while generating powerful PR impact.
