Concept

“Magic Flow” is an interactive audiovisual art installation that merges public art, digital technologies, and living human energy. Designed for urban spaces and public areas, the project creates a new point of attraction — a place where a person becomes an active participant in what is happening.

At the heart of the installation lies the image of a double oscillating wave. This smooth, dynamic structure simultaneously evokes a water flow, a sound track, and a digital light signal. Two waves move toward each other, symbolizing hidden energy currents that converge at a single point — within the human being. The space does not merely exist around the visitor; it begins to respond.

Interactive Experience

The installation comes alive through interaction with people.

As a person approaches, infrared sensors detect their presence — the wave begins to gently “breathe,” creating the sensation of a living organism.

When a hand is brought close to any of the 50 vertical columns, a personal response is triggered:

a unique color lights up, a light impulse appears, and one of 50 musical notes sounds. In this way, visitors literally play the space, creating melodies, rhythms, or chaotic audiovisual accents.

Each column represents a single note, one sound, one vibration. The installation transforms into a musical instrument of the 21st century, where the composition is born here and now, in a dialogue between the person and the environment.

Materials & Execution

All elements of the installation are made from impact-resistant, frost-resistant, and vandal-resistant materials, designed for long-term outdoor use.

The polycarbonate columns provide deep, even illumination, transforming into vertical streams of light, as if suspended in the air.

The lighting scenarios are built on smooth transitions and cosmic violet-blue hues, creating a sense of digital magic and the future. Upon request, the project can be fully customized to a brand — from color scenarios to logo integration into the structure or lighting effects.
