"Aqua Cascata Cleveland"
Interior fountain/
Public art
Project details
- Location: Cleveland, Ohio, USA
- Client: Huntington Convention Center of Cleveland
- Year of completion: 2024
- Dimensions (H × W × D): 3 m × 6 m × 0.5 m
Client’s task
Create an expressive interior center of attraction that:
- harmoniously combines natural materials and modern design;
- will give visitors multisensory experience (water, light, texture, greenery);
- will become a photogenic point and relaxation area in the large hall;
- will emphasize the status of the site and its openness to contemporary art.
Our solution
- Composition. 30 panels of art glass (500 × 500 mm) and a central slab of natural agate measuring 2.5 × 1 m, connected by cascades of water; green accents enhance the natural aesthetic.
- Light and water. Dynamic reflections on glass and stone, soft lighting, adjustable water flow modes – from calm flow to a more active scene.
- Materials and durability. Wear-resistant structures, waterproof light modules, filtration and water circulation systems for stable operation in high-traffic conditions.
- Integration into space. The fountain is designed as functional art element : It centers the atrium without overwhelming navigation and visitor flows.
- Process. Production and installation took 4 months – from concept and engineering to commissioning.
Result
- “Aqua Cascata Cleveland” became the hallmark of the hall, strengthening the image of the center and increasing the involvement of visitors.
- The installation creates a stable flow of organic content on social networks and increases the time guests spend in the fountain area.
- The combination of water, light and natural materials creates the effect of a living space: during the day – a bright oasis, in the evening – an expressive light scene.
“Aqua Cascata Cleveland” by Skyform Studio is a manifesto of elegance, nature and innovation, transforming interiors into living environments that inspire and soothe.
