Client’s task

The customer approached us with an idea:

We want a piece of public art that will be the centerpiece of the New England community, bringing together architecture, culture and creating an iconic focal point. It must be a recognizable symbol, reflecting European heritage and providing residents with a new cultural space.

Our solution

We proposed to create a modern art object, recognizable all over the world and ideally symbolizing the name of the residential complex :

• The tower is made with high detail, but in a modern artistic style.
• The design is designed taking into account operation in open space conditions and various climatic factors.
• The clock on each side made the sculpture not only symbolic, but also functional.
• The installation is organically integrated into the composition of the large fountain complex, enhancing the effect of the public space and making it a center of attraction for residents and guests.

Result

• Public art installation Big Ben became the central symbol of the New England housing complex, shaping its visual and cultural identity.
• The complex has gained wide recognition and tens of thousands of photos and reviews on social networks created by residents and visitors.
• The object combined the architectural heritage of London with the modern urban space of Kyiv.
• Residents and guests received a new cultural point of attraction , where art and functionality meet.
• The project was completed in just 7 months – from idea and concept development to installation.
