ABOUT THE PROJECT
“The Flower of Wishes” invites children and adults to make a wish and bring the flower to life with light and music.
The central button is connected to the surrounding buttons by curved lines of light. Participants send colored pulses to the center and back, exchange light responses, and together create a unified composition.
The lights move to the beat of the music, turning every step into part of the overall performance.
INTERACTION SCENARIOS
- My Petal. A participant steps on a peripheral button, triggering a musical sequence and a light effect that moves along their path toward the center and back. The peripheral buttons work even when no one is in the center.
- Make a wish. A participant makes a wish and stands on the center button. The light spreads out along the curved lines leading to other buttons, symbolically opening the flower in time with the music.
- Light Dialogue. Participants in the center and on the periphery take turns pressing buttons, exchanging light signals by pressing the button. Pressing the button repeatedly triggers new light-and-music scenes.
- General Bloom. Pressing all 15 buttons simultaneously—including the center button—triggers the main light and music show. The individual “petals” come together to form a single composition through their coordinated movement.
LOCATIONS
City squares, parks, waterfronts, residential complexes, shopping and cultural centers, hotels, and resorts.
DIMENSIONS
The overall dimensions of the site are 10 meters in diameter.
Central interactive button — 1 (600 mm in diameter).
Peripheral interactive buttons — 14 (500 mm in diameter).
Curved linear light fixtures — total length 45 running meters.
KEY ELEMENTS
Floor-mounted interactive light buttons, curved linear light fixtures, a sound system, an information sign, and a control system for lighting, sound, and game scenarios. The buttons and light fixtures are installed flush with the paving.
The lighting effects are synchronized with the music and are triggered by pressing buttons. When participants release the buttons, the effects become more subdued. Soft ambient lighting remains on in the background.
The number of “petals,” the length of the light lines, and the dimensions of the installation can be adapted to the space and the client’s preferences.
