ABOUT THE PROJECT
“Wealth of the Nation” — a large-scale interactive light and music installation dedicated to the key national values of Kazakhstan. The project redefines the concept of wealth through people, culture, knowledge, unity and the future, forming a modern social symbol and point of attraction. The installation combines architecture, light, sound and tactile interaction, creating a space in which a person is not an observer, but an active participant.
ARCHITECTURAL CONCEPT
The composition consists of 14 vertical light columns , located around a circle with a diameter 14 meters . This rhythm forms an integral public space for free movement, communication and personal interaction with the meaning of the project. Each column is an independent element with its own character, but together they form a single architectural ensemble, reflecting the idea of the integrity of the nation.

DETAILS AND SYMBOLICS
The top of each column has 30° angle cut oriented to the center of the composition. This gesture unifies all elements into a single form and enhances the sense of overall meaning. At the top of each column is placed modern state emblem of Kazakhstan , acting as a unifying sign of the entire installation – a symbol of unity, continuity and the common foundation of society. Made on metal elements engraving of mottos in Kazakh, English and Russian, ensuring cultural accuracy, international readability and longevity of meaning.
CENTRAL PODIUM AND PUBLIC SPACE
In the center of the composition is round podium with a diameter of 4 meters with a detailed map of modern Kazakhstan, covered with impact-resistant glass.
Podium:
- designed for sitting and relaxing,
- becomes a place of contemplation and communication,
- symbolizes the semantic and territorial core of the country.
The man literally turns out in the center of the map and values , becoming part of the installation.
INTERACTIVITY: LIGHT AND SOUND
The project is built as a live interaction system.
When touching the column:
- dynamic light scenario is activated,
- the light begins to move vertically, creating a revival effect,
- a unique sound fragment, individually designed for each value, is included.
Each column gets its own light signature, sound identity and emotional intonation . The visitor does not just read the meanings – he experiences them through interaction. The soft internal glow remains expressive even in daylight, and in the evening and at night the installation turns into a full-fledged light landscape with smooth gradients and artistic transitions.
MOBILE APPLICATION
Developed for the project special mobile application Wealth of the Nation , expanding the physical space of the installation in the digital environment.
The application allows you to:
- receive extended descriptions of each value,
- listen to the audio guide and sound compositions,
- dive deeper into the emotional and cultural context of the project.
The interface will be available on seven languages , making the installation understandable to an international audience and convenient for both tourists and residents of the country.
ARCHITECTURE AND MATERIALS
The composition uses:
- columns high 4 meters and diameter 710 mm ,
- load-bearing frame made of stainless steel ,
- outer shell of white light-diffusing polycarbonate ,
- decorative elements and medallions from stainless steel .
The materials emphasize the purity of form, the status of the object and are designed for long-term use in a public environment.
CULTURAL SIGNIFICANCE
“Wealth of the Nation” conceived as a new point of attraction for residents and tourists, a space where the modern cultural image of Kazakhstan is formed. The installation becomes not just an art object, but recognizable symbol , around which photographs, videos and personal stories are born, spreading the idea of the project far beyond the location.
FINAL FORMULA OF THE PROJECT
“Wealth of the Nation” is a circle of values, where each column becomes a living interlocutor, and each person becomes part of the country s cultural code.
