ABOUT THE PROJECT

“Infinity” invites children and adults to step into the center of a light-and-music installation shaped like the infinity symbol. Stepping on the central button triggers colorful waves that travel along two loops and return to the participant in time with the music. Repeated presses change the sequences, revealing new combinations of color, movement, and sound.

INTERACTION SCENARIOS

• The First Impulse. A participant steps on the central button to start the musical composition. At the same time, light radiates from the center along both loops, traces their contours, and returns to the person, bringing the entire infinity symbol to life.
• Color variations. Repeated presses trigger new light-and-music scenarios. The color combinations and the movement of the light pulses change, allowing the participant to alter the appearance of the entire composition.
• An Invitation to the Center. When a participant steps away from the button, the installation shifts into a calmer mode. Smooth lighting transitions draw attention to the central button and invite the next visitor.

DIMENSIONS

The overall dimensions of the site are 10 × 3.9 m.

Central interactive button — 1 (600 mm in diameter).

Curved linear light fixtures — total length 27 running meters.

KEY ELEMENTS

A central interactive floor-mounted light button, built-in curved linear lights, a sound system, an information sign with interaction guidelines, and a system for controlling lighting, sound, and scenarios. The button and lights are installed flush with the flooring.

The lighting effects are synchronized with the music. The scenes are preprogrammed and switch automatically

by pressing the center button. When visitors are not actively using the display, it remains backlit.

The dimensions of the infinity symbol, color palettes, and musical themes can be adapted to the specific characteristics of the space and the client's preferences.
